About
I am the Spencer R. Hassell Professor of Business Administration at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
My research explores the intersection of marketing, technology, and strategy, with a focus on distribution channels and the marketing of durable products. Using game-theoretic modeling, I analyze strategic interactions between competing firms and channel partners. My work has been published in leading academic journals, including Marketing Science, Management Science, Quantitative Marketing and Economics, Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Marketing Research.
Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in editorial leadership across the field. I currently serve as the President of the INFORMS Society for Marketing Science (ISMS) and on the advisory board of Marketing Science, where I previously served as Editor-in-Chief. I have also served as a Departmental Editor for Management Science and as an Associate Editor for both the Journal of Marketing Research and Quantitative Marketing and Economics.
I received my M.S. and Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University.
